Born on January 9, 2002, Bon Sevic lived with remarkable determination despite being diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia at birth.

Reflecting on his journey, he once said:
“I was born at home and started experiencing conditions in my body. When we went to the hospital for a check-up, I was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia.”

His personal battle with the disease became the driving force behind his advocacy.

Bon was known for candidly sharing his experiences to reduce the stigma surrounding sickle cell anaemia.

“I decided to call myself a sickle cell ambassador because I want to reach people and give them the strength and passion to talk about their condition,” he explained during an interview.
