Sarah Kabu, co-founder of Bonfire Adventures, has dismissed claims linked to a viral video alleging assault, describing it as part of a smear campaign targeting her.
The video, which gained traction online, seemingly depicts a woman resembling Sarah involved in an altercation with a person claiming to be her househelp.
On December 4, Sarah took to Instagram to deny any association with the woman in the video. She described the situation as a calculated attempt to tarnish her image.
“There is a paid campaign claiming that someone is my househelp and that I assaulted her. I want to make it clear that this is not my househelp,” Sarah stated firmly.
She elaborated that the accusations were baseless and announced plans to introduce her actual house managers publicly to clarify the matter. Sarah also emphasized that she would not be intimidated by the smear campaign.
The controversial CCTV footage shows a woman, allegedly Sarah, holding an object resembling a knife and appearing to push the househelp out of a house. The altercation seemingly escalates until Simon Kabu, her husband, intervenes to calm the situation.
While Sarah has not directly addressed the details of the video, she has maintained that the allegations are false. She promised to provide additional context and evidence to clear her name and protect her reputation.
